how God finds you when you are not looking for him

Luke 15:3-7 Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and one of them loses it. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the steppe and go after the lost one until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully takes it on his shoulders and carries it home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says to them: 'Rejoice with me! I have found the sheep that was lost to me.' I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need not repent."

Get a children's book. It is often described very beautifully how the sheep goes in search of happiness in the wide world.
